1.hmmmm. i don't think so. see, if i could predict the future then i could be like oh i want to do all these things before i die. but i don't believe that the future is a set thing, that we are all meant to die at a certain time and place and in a certain way. i think death and life and this whole timeline of events is just that: a timeline of events. we only have a certain time here on earth, adn by merely trying to find out when we die and cheat death and live better, we're really making it worse. life isn't about death. its about recognizing that death will come and then living to the best of our ability. its about dealing with shit and love and pain and happiness and lies and truth and reality. i try to live in the now, not the was or may be. i learn from the past and am hopeful for the future, but i don't let possible future events alter the way i live. and for that reason, i wouldn't want to know when/how/etc. i would die. because it would ruin life. the mystery and excitement of life is knowing that i may die tomorrow, so i have to make todays the best fucking thing ever.
1. hmmmm tough one...sanity is when someone can look at his/her life and understand what's going on, as in know and understand what and why they do things. they have a plan and they are relatively happy and they know what they're doing/going to do. they understand their self appointed purpose and goals and they are participating in life. i guess thats the best io can do without defining insanity and comparing them.
Yea....I see your point and agree with you. But if you did know how you died and when, you wouldn't be afraid of dying any other situation. You would know that you were going to make it out okay and that would give you courage. It's a toughy
1. if i were going to die tomorrow... and it was today, monday june 21 and my life and experiences being as they are... i would go see Spamalot in New York, take in the sights, and have sex. i've always been very particular about the fact that i dont want to die a virgin, so yeah.
