lalalalala I AM SOUND
Options: read for class or update blog.Clearly, we know what I chose. Yay for being responsible!
In other news, I dropped my pen in class today and it made a spot on my lovely light blue/white stripped polo shirt that I love and it was very boo hisssssssss.
Fair Trade starts on Wednesday! Sort of; we have a booth at the activities fair. Meetings don't start until next Tuesday. Whatevs though.
I am very tired because instead of sleeping last night I put on my headphones and rocked out to fabulous music by the Dandy Warhols. They are definitely my favorite band at the moment. On my iTunes top 25 played list, 11 of the songs are by the Dandys. A sign of their superiority? Clearly.
Carroll starts today. Bwa ha ha high school. Kyle has Mrs. Prado for two classes, one each day. This is very good, because a Prado a day makes your life awesome.
I think I shall be going home this weekend because a) it is Labor Day weekend and b) it is my parent's . . . 27th wedding anniversery. Kind of a big deal. Like me.
Our room is awesome. So is EBay, where I found some great posters for our room (one of Cream and one of The Who and Jefferson Airplane) and an amazing t-shirt (Jefferson Airplane Loves You) so yippee for me. Also, while getting a book for my Jew. Lit. Class on Amazon.com (because our bookstore burned down and therefore lacks the proper facilities to have the books we all need) I found the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice for $20, clearly a great investment of time and money, considering it's like six hours long and AWESOME.
My roommate bought a book for $43 and just returned it for $50. It makes me want to return my books and then use the extra money to do something awesome, like getting new windshield wipers.
La ti da.
I do not like having to read Holocaust memoirs 2-3 times a year for class. Why? Because they are disturbing and such. And I understand why, but seriously, it's a bit much.
Our campus has a giant hole where grass and parking lots used to be. We are calling it Texas Construction University. Ridiculous.
I love the Dandys Warhols. And they probably love me too, since the Dandy Warhols Love Almost Everyone.
