1. I am back from Paris. It's a pretty cool city, but I think I like London better. 2. It's way too hot in Texas. Boo hiss. 3. It's supposed to rain today so I cannot wash my car but it is not raining which makes me think I could have washed my car before I took a shower. Silly weather.com. 4. Starbucks did not call and neither did Gap so it looks as if I am unemployed. I have a babysitting job offer though, so I will try and do that there days a week and see if I can apply at some other places and hopefully get another job.5. I want to read but I have really bad ADD and I don't like reading here at the house. Maybe I'll go to Starbucks later and chillax. 6. Tomorrow Kyle and I may go see a movie at Town Square! X-men 3 perhaps? Or one of the other eight mvies playing there (yay Southlake movie theater, boo movies available at said movie theater). 7. I have not seen the DaVinci Code. Anybody want to go?8. I think my favorite museum ever is the Louvre. It was kind of crowded, but honestly not bad. And it was enormous, but do-able. I love it. Ironically, my favorite type of art is probably modern art. 9. If I can fit an art history class into my schedule, I think I shall. Perhaps in London?10. Boo for Art History classes at TCU counting as ART credit but not HIST credit. 11. We ate lobster when we were in Boston (flights to Paris from DFW were full but flights from Boston were open, so we went to Boston) and saw Moving Out! which was good. My mom wanted to see BU which really stung because it just reminded my how much I had wanted to go there last year and that I couldn't. I don't regret going to TCU but I regret not going to Boston, if that makes any sense. 12. I gave Max a bath earlier and now he is fresh and clean and smells of herbal essences. 13. I am unemployed and broke. 14. I want to go see a play. Hmmm. Must check the paper and see if there's anything good. 15. I'm hungry. Rar. I want to eat and read and go to Starbucks and ponder life. I don't want to be "productive" though I do consider said actions productive. Meh.
WHERE IS MY MIND?
I'm going to Paris tomorrow. I'm kind of excited. Well actually, I'm going to Boston tomorrow, and then to Paris on Sunday. FUN. I don't speak French. I need to finish packing. I'm going to send postcards.Tonight was my brother's first band banquet. He looked lovely in his suit. We dyed his faux-hawk blue. It looked pretty cool. I like summer. I like going to Barnes and Noble too. I also really like Starbucks. I hope I get called back for a second interview (first was yesterday, it went pretty well, I think). Last night was the band concert. Saw peoples. It was fun. I don't like waking up early. And I don't like jet lag. We ate dinner about 45 minutes ago. I'm hungry. I got Surfer Rosa by The Pixies today. I like that CD. YAY. OK. Today is Thursday. I haven't updated in forever. I moved out on Saturday and am now back in Southlake. I've taken 2 of my 5 exams, 1 was cancelled, and 2 are tomorrow. I think I did pretty well on Latin American Civ and French. Shakespeare and Western Civ are tomorrow. Bleh. Lots of studying today. The OC season finale is on tonight, I am very excited! We had a pseudo-sonic night last night with LD, Heath, Kendell and I. It was fun. Tomorrow is Kate's Murder Mystery Party (theme: Tragedy at the Prom). I'm playing the Prom Queen character. How ironical. My mom is here for lunch. She's yelling out random French words because she doesn't know French and we're apparently going to Paris in a few weeks. Thios should be interesting. We don't know how to ask for the toilet paper. Study session later today. School is almost over for three months. Weird. I like college. I need a job. I really want to work at Starbucks. Have I mentioned that? Its quite lovely outside. Off to lunch, study Shakespeare, drive to Fort Worth, study Western Civ, eat dinner, watch the OC, and study more Shakespeare. Boo finals. Yay summer.
